Nerd Alert

I have this dream of what the future will be like relaxing on my carbon nanotube bed, watching my carbon nanotube television in my carbon nanotube solar cell powered house, drinking carbon nanotube filtered water and snacking on carbon nanotube sandwiches. And then shit like this happens. Must I remind everybody about the space elevator and that carbon nanotubes might cure cancer someday.

For everyone as depressed as I am about this, here are some amusing things to check out in between sobbing and binging on chocolate:
  • Greatest invention ever!!!
  • Full episodes of Starcade are now available for your viewing pleasure. This was the first video arcade game show, originally airing in the early 80's, that set the bar for all the video arcade game shows to follow.

Inappropriate!

Some tidbits I've collected throughout the week:

  • Looking for a hip-hop album that takes an "unflinching" look at life in today's society? Who better to deliver that than comedian, actor, activist, Jello spokesman Bill Cosby?

  • If you've ever heard me say "inappropriate" in a really bad English accent and then giggle to myself, this clip from the Clive Clemmons Inappropriate Response Channel should explain it:

  • The AARP has their own versions of Snood and Space Invaders amongst other games. They're not as fun though, but I am tempted to try and beat the high scores.

  • I'm not sure why I find this so amusing, but AC Slater's in "A Chorus Line" on Broadway. I'm not familiar with "A Chorus Line" at all but if it looks anything like this, I might have to go:

An Homage to Samwell. Finally.

The What What (In the Butt) sequence from last week's South Park is all the more life-changing due to the fact that it's based on an actual music video.

Cute little Butters:

Obviously brilliant pop god Samwell:

The eternally accurate Wikipedia says that Samwell's green-screen masterpiece was an official selection at the Milwaukee International Film Festival and the Mix Brasil Film Festival. The Fonz abides.

Cupcakes & Hipster Hunting

Long time listener, first time blogger...

We're hurling some gems to reflect our various hatreds and subculture obsessions. Falsely educating the masses for our own amusement. Here's what you can look forward to in the coming months:

  • The ins and out of myspace stalking (our favorite pastime) and just random stuff that pisses us off while we are stalking like couple pictures and stupid quotes.

  • Random recommendations of movies, tv shows, books, music, and dance jams that Us Magazine has never heard of.

  • Boston Freak Out & NYC Vegan Walking Tour Photo Diaries

  • Chrissyfest 2008: Will it happen?

  • Tons of inside jokes we will never explain!!!

  • How to score free shots with Batman pez

  • How to live your life like a hobo

  • Constant updates on the assemblage of Propane, Propane

  • Incessant cookie party explosions
